Like Attracts Like
The Law of Attraction has become a widely discussed topic over the past few years, especially in the self-help and personal development communities. It is a universal law that states that like attracts like. This means that you can attract whatever you focus your energy and attention on, whether positive or negative.
Everybody has their Law of Attraction stories. Either what they have manifested or frustration and disappointment about what they haven’t. I, like most people, have both.
On one hand, I’ve experienced manifesting dream holidays, houses that seemed impossible, cars that I’ve needed and an amazing soulmate in my life. On the other hand, I still have so many dreams that it’s easy for me to wonder why the Universe hasn’t brought all that too.
Law of Attraction Brings in Everything!
But what I’ve found over 17 years of consciously practicing the Law of Attraction is that you attract both wanted and unwanted manifestations. It really depends on where you’re focused and how you’re feeling.
This is directly related to what’s going on in your life and where you are in relation to your emotional well-being. The six dimensions below have helped me to consistently attract more of what I want and less of what I don’t want. And that’s what I’d like for you too.
The Law of Attraction is Multi-Dimensional
The Law of Attraction is not just about focusing on positive thoughts and visualizing your dreams. It is a multi-dimensional concept that involves different aspects of your being. Some of these aspects involve the six dimensions of the Law of Attraction: physical, mental, emotional, vibration, intention, and attitude.
Physical Dimension of Law of Attraction
The physical dimension of the Law of Attraction involves looking after your health through diet, exercise and sleep, plus taking action towards your goals. It’s not enough to just think positively and expect everything to magically happen. You have to put in the inspired effort and take consistent action towards what you want. This can include taking small steps every day or making major changes in your life to align with your goals. And sometimes both!
The physical dimension involves our actions and behaviors in the physical world. It includes our habits, routines, and actions that contribute to our daily experiences. For example, if we set an intention to improve our health, we might decide to take up running and healthy eating habits to support the goal.
Mental Dimension of Law of Attraction
The mental dimension of the Law of Attraction is all about your thoughts and beliefs. Your thoughts create your reality, and if you consistently think negative thoughts, you will attract negative experiences. Therefore, it’s important to cultivate a positive mindset and believe that you can achieve your goals.
The mental dimension involves our thoughts and beliefs. It even includes the ideas and perspectives we hold about ourselves and the world around us. You might be aware that our mental state greatly impacts our emotions and behaviors, and can influence the outcomes we attract. For example, if we hold a belief that we are not worthy of love, we may inadvertently attract toxic relationships or struggle to find meaningful and lasting partners.
Emotional/Spiritual Dimension of Law of Attraction
The emotional dimension is also the spiritual dimension of the Law of Attraction and involves managing your emotions and staying in a positive emotional state. Your emotions are your connection with your inner world, that of spirit. The heart is the center of connection with the Universe.
Negative emotions such as fear, doubt, and anxiety can block the flow of abundance and prevent you from manifesting your desires. By staying in a positive emotional state, you increase your vibration and attract positive experiences into your life.
The emotional/spiritual dimension involves our feelings and emotions. It includes the range of emotions we experience, from joy and happiness to sadness and anger. Our emotional state greatly impacts our vibration or the energy we emit into the universe. When we are in a positive emotional state, we are more likely to attract more of what we want.
Vibration Dimension of Law of Attraction
The vibration dimension of the Law of Attraction is all about energy. Everything in the universe is made up of energy, including your thoughts and emotions. By raising your vibration, you attract higher vibrational experiences into your life. This can be done through activities such as meditation, visualization, and gratitude.
The vibration dimension involves the energy we emit into the universe. This means it’s our request, how we ask for what we want. It combines our thoughts, emotions, and actions, and the frequency at which they vibrate. This is called our mood. When we are in a high-vibration state, we attract positive experiences and opportunities. The opposite is also true as when we are in a low-vibration state, we attract negative outcomes and experiences such as people that we don’t particularly like or even illnesses, as everything has a vibration. And of course like attracts like.
Intention Dimension of Law of Attraction
The intention dimension of the Law of Attraction involves setting clear and specific intentions for what you want to manifest. When you have a clear intention, you align your energy and focus towards your desired outcome. This helps to increase the likelihood of manifesting what you want.
The intention dimension involves our conscious and deliberate focus on our desired outcomes. It includes setting clear and specific intentions, visualizing our desired outcomes, and taking inspired action towards our goals. Our intentions help to align our energy and focus our attention on what we truly want. And they can be small or large intentions. I always knew when my kids went to school without setting their intentions as their day didn’t quite turn out the way they wanted. But when they did set their intentions before they left home, they were happy when they returned that afternoon. Setting intentions is a recipe for how you want something to turn out, just like baking a cake.
Attitude Dimension of Law of Attraction
The attitude dimension of the Law of Attraction is all about your overall attitude towards life. If you have a positive and optimistic attitude, you are more likely to attract positive experiences in your life. Conversely, if you have a negative and pessimistic attitude, you are more likely to attract negative experiences.
The attitude dimension involves our overall perspective and outlook on life. It includes our general mindset and the way we approach challenges and setbacks. A positive attitude can greatly impact our ability to manifest our desires, as it helps us to stay open to opportunities and maintain a hopeful outlook. I was often told I had a ‘bad attitude’ as a teenager and all this did was make me frustrated and angry that this was the hand I’d been dealt in life. Nobody told me that I could change my attitude. EVERYTHING is changeable and your attitude is one thing you really do want to change as it affects your vibration.
Law of Attraction calls on Universal Resources
Because the Law of Attraction is a multi-dimensional concept that involves different aspects of your being, it pulls together the Universal resources of the six dimensions to not only attract abundance but to manifest your dreams. By focusing on these six dimensions – physical, mental, emotional, vibration, intention, and attitude – you can manifest your desires and create the life you want. Remember, like attracts like, so focus on positivity, take action, and trust in the process.

Who am I?
Someone once told me (a well-respected mentor) that people need “experts” to live a life they value… and I didn’t believe them.
I thought everybody could find their Purpose on their own because I did. I figured out what didn’t work in my life and then I changed it. Actually, I changed me and my direction many times. And come to think of it, it was a LOT of work over MANY years!
And every time I would discover something that worked, all would be sweet and then that method would stop working. Have you ever found that? And I couldn’t work out why. I just thought it wasn’t the right method for me.
But it turns out that it was, it’s just that I had limiting beliefs standing in the way. QUITE A FEW! That I didn't even realize were there, and when I could transform those, things began to work again. My life would flow beautifully and I’d get those synchronicities to let me know I’m on track.
