When The Universe Rolls Out The Red Carpet

When The Universe Rolls Out The Red Carpet

Beginning Of A New Adventure

I had reluctantly emailed the marketing group that I couldn’t attend their conference that year. I just couldn’t afford it even though the conference ticket was free. But I awoke one morning and it was on my mind. And it was persistent. There was a voice inside my head telling me to look at flights and to my surprise the prices weren’t that bad. Considering I was in Australia, and I actually needed to leave the next day to arrive on time. I was expecting to quell that niggling voice with the expense, but it didn’t happen. This was 7am Wednesday morning.

I said to my husband, if I can find the money, would you mind if I go? To Phoenix? Tomorrow? Yes, I said.

Unraveling the Mystery

I began to feel excited. I felt compelled to look in an account I hadn’t looked at for a long time and saw that $1541 had been deducted by a tax agency because I hadn’t filed a form a year ago. My heart sank because this was moving in the wrong direction. So, because I wanted it sorted anyway, I rang the Dept and asked if I could still fill in the form and the lady was happy to oblige. She said she’d send it out right away. In fact, she said that if I filled it out and took it into the Department office, they would refund immediately. I put the phone down and said to my husband, I just found $1541 we didn’t know we had. He was just amazed.

I looked online for flights because now I had a budget. I did find some, but the booking payment wouldn’t go through. It came up error each time, so I called the airline reservations instead.

A very helpful lady found flights and could get me back from Phoenix but only get me to LA. She couldn’t find a flight to Phoenix from LA that wasn’t sold out. I told her to go ahead, I’d find a way to Phoenix from LA. She said she could give me a better price than I found online and booked my flights from Cairns in Northern Australia, via Sydney and Los Angeles to Phoenix. She also expressed her surprise these flights were even available.

In her experience she’d never ever seen ‘saver’ flights still available the day before travel. Especially internationally. It was unheard of.

There were other things to organize but my passport was in order, my visa was valid. The whole process was surreal. I just didn’t have anywhere to stay.

I also didn’t have a flight from LA to Phoenix.

Time to Fly

This was 11am Wednesday Morning and I left on my 30 hour journey at 3am Thursday, the very next morning. Only 16 hours after I had booked. As it turned out, I was gold class with the airlines, because three of us had traveled to Canada earlier that year and we could pool our points, which meant that, although I still traveled coach, I gained access to all the lounges along the way. (And believe me, the Emirates lounge at LAX really is 5 star luxury.)

I also had priority checkin, customs and boarding. What usually took hours was now a breeze.

I may have flown coach, but I had a whole row to myself. The 16 hr flight from Sydney to LA was wonderful. It was still Thursday at 7.30am on arrival (as I traveled backwards in time), and I was both refreshed and excited, wondering what amazing events were coming my way.

I had found overnight accommodation in Phoenix but didn’t have anywhere to stay for the following nights. Everywhere was fully booked. There were a lot of conferences happening that weekend. The evening of my arrival in Phoenix, a friend I had recently found through the conference website, messaged me and said a fellow member was moving to the Sheraton and wanted to give her prepaid accommodation away. It was for 4 nights and it was free. I was dumbfounded and couldn’t message her quickly enough. She said “If you want it, it’s yours”. I was gobsmacked and so was everyone I relayed this story to.

The Universe is a Great Planner

When you practice Mood Mastery, you allow the Universe to roll out the red carpet for you. There were many other small pieces that fell into place along the way. Such as the plane delays that affected many but didn’t affect me, the flight from LA to Phoenix, and the people who entered my life. It truly was an amazing adventure. I couldn’t have planned it better myself.

So what of my flight from LA to Phoenix? Well I had a friend who lived not far from Burbank, another airport in LA. I knew she was going through a difficult patch so I spent some time with her and caught an afternoon flight from Burbank to Phoenix. Good ol’ Southwest. And it was much easier than going back to LAX.

The Universe truly knows all the details and is much better at organizing events than either you or me. That’s what 6D Mood Mastery does. You become the creator and the Universe takes care of the details. Usually before you know they even exist.

For instance, the Universe had me planned to spend time with my friend in LA before I’d even thought of it. Otherwise I would have been able to book a flight straight through. Instead, it was the only leg that was different. I never underestimate the importance of the connections I have been destined to make. With both places and people.

Staying On Track

From that time on, I have adjusted my mood to expect great things to come my way and I haven’t been disappointed. It’s all a part of living my life by design. If I second guess myself, it causes a twist. See below!

Many wonderful things have happened or unraveled since then and I owe it all to mastering my mood. These events can be a roller coaster of emotions from exhilaration and ‘look this is working for me’ to deep disappointment and ‘I don’t think it’s going to work’. It’s a matter of building new patterns, so that the exhilaration is felt more often.

When I began to trust the process, I got out of the way. There were no more obstacles.

6D Mood Mastery is available to everyone, so Just imagine what it could do for you and your business.

An Expanding Experience

It turned out to be a wonderful conference of course and I really loved every moment.

Each connection I made was important and every person I spent time with, was inspiring.

I rubbed shoulders with many people who had taken their startups from where I was to million dollar businesses and I was blown away by the possibilities.

It was truly an expanding experience and I never thought of my business the same way again. I really knew why I was meant to be there. It was along my path. This was a significant part of my journey.

Oh, I forgot to tell you about the twist.

There’s always a twist isn’t there? Well, you know how everything had gone so beautifully, it was as if the Universe had rolled out the red carpet. Well, at one stage I did question the Universe’s knowledge about what they were doing when a flight was heavily delayed. So I had it rescheduled. Then it needed to be changed back again.

The consequence of these actions was that my baggage got left in LA. So when I got to Brisbane, there was no suitcase. However, the lady at the counter located it quickly and scheduled it for the next flight.

This actually worked out well, because when I landed at my destination, I no longer needed to wait for baggage and left the airport straight away. My luggage was delivered to my door, even though I was in the country, the very next day. Turned out to be an advantage rather than an inconvenience.

It was a prime example of how we get in our own way and I will trust that everything is in order next time.

5 Keys To Uplifting Your Default Mood

5 Keys To Uplifting Your Default Mood

5 Keys To Uplifting Your Default Mood

default mood

What is a default mood and how do you know if you even have one?

The default mood is the one we gravitate towards because it’s comfortable. We experience many moods during the day and each of them is in response to our reaction about something we’re thinking about. Whether we’ve read something and formed an opinion, we’re observing an event, or just mulling things over in our head, it all leads to a mood.

This mood is our road map. It paves our journey called life and becomes our reality. Our dominant mood actually attracts people, events and opportunities into our life. So it’s important that our mood is recognised so that we can change what we’re offering in terms of requests to the Universe.

Everyone Has A Default Mood.

Everyone has a default mood. This is the mood we’re most comfortable hanging around in. It’s the mood we find ourselves in most of the day and the one we base our decisions from. So if our default mood is worry, then most of our decisions will be made from that base of worry. We may move up the mood map to doubt, disappointment and frustration, but beyond that is relatively unfamiliar territory. It’s also very easy to topple into blame and discouragement.

Mood Map

Our scale of experience is in a narrow band somewhere between discouragement and frustration. To go beyond this, to Hopefulness and Optimism, can create discomfort and automatically, like a tight rubber band, we snap back to our default.

When we’ve trained our default mood to become Unworthiness, the easy next step down is Fear, Depression and Despair. It’s only a small step at that, so very accessible. The best we can hope to get to from Unworthiness is Jealousy, Hatred and Anger. It’s really not very good company. When we’re challenged to move beyond this band of moods, to optimism for example, we usually hide and retreat to where we’re comfortable and that’s within our default mood range. We give this fancy names like self-sabotage, but really, it’s just moving back to where we feel safe and familiar.

How Did We Get A Default Mood?

Through the experiences of life, we chose a default mood. Somewhere we could feel safe. Often it was a place to fall, safe from the hurt of the outside world. It was never a conscious choice. No sane person ever chooses to feel bad as their default. But, through the experiences of life, we gradually found our safe mood.

All of our perceptions towards life are rooted in our mood. How we see life, how we respond, the opportunities that present themselves and the choices we make. All of these foundations for living a good life are based in our default mood. It’s our mood that creates either a life we love or one we hate, so if we change our default, we can begin to see changes in our life.

There are 5 Keys to Changing our Default Mood:

  1. We need to be aware of our default. It’s easy to recognize how we’re feeling during the day by whether we’re smiling or frowning. Whether our thoughts are uplifting to debilitating. Angry or afraid. Matching them against the mood map.
  2. Consciously choose relief. Once aware of the default, we can begin to look for thoughts of relief during the day, consciously changing the way we look at everything.
  3. Notice where we’re gravitating. As we notice our mood once again, we can choose better and better thoughts which are the prelude to mood.
  4. Feel comfortable with the discomfort. Our comfort zone is set to the limits of our default mood. As we begin to notice the shift in mood, we can become more comfortable. The more often we visit a better mood, the more our comfort zone expands.
  5. Empower ourselves. Using self-talk, we begin to acknowledge we are enough. We are comfortable feeling good and worthy of a great life. We deserve love, joy, inspiration and ease and flow.

Our birthright is to create a life we love. It’s not something we have to do, but something we really want to do.

Benefits Of Changing Your Default Mood

It’s no secret as to why life just works for some people, and seemingly against others. Their default moods are completely different. Therefore their request form to the Universe is completely different. When they make decisions with a base of Optimism, they’re going to see the evidence of optimistic decisions all around them. The opposite is also true for many people.

The good news is that a default mood is changeable. We can change our own. Just by using the 5 keys above we can practice creating a life we really love. The future is really worth any perceived emotional risk. And when our mood changes, we feel great. That’s the greatest benefit of all.

How Do We Stay Feeling great? Well, that’s another story.

Shine Your Light

Shine Your Light

Remember the Song, “When You’re Smiling, The Whole World Smiles With You?” Well there is a lot of truth in that statement. Not because everyone in the world is smiling, but because your mood is emitting an etheric colored light beam. As your light shines, you are attracted to those who emit a similar color light beam, as they shine as well.

You may not be able to see this etheric light, but you can certainly feel it. You become focused on those with a similar mood. Therefore, when you feel great, you won’t even notice the people who are grumpy. They could be walking right by you and you won’t even notice. You won’t experience the rude ones either, and your not likely to come in the vicinity of people who cut you off in traffic when you are in a great mood.

Shine A Light

This sense of ‘feeling great’ is a wonderful way of creating a reality filled with what you want. Milk this feeling for as long as you can and you will see evidence of change for the better in your life.

Do the grumpy people still exist?  Of course they do. But when you are focused upon things that are working well in your life, you won’t even notice them. Just like you, they emit their own colored etheric light but their shade will reflect their mood and they will attract others that match their light.

However, it’s not your job to look for people who aren’t feeling great and try and change them. In fact, it’s a sure way to change your mood to something you don’t really want, very quickly. The best you can do for another is to feel good. REALLY good. As it is your example that will shine the light for all who want to follow.
